For some unknown reason, Valentines this year seems special. Like all holidays, Lexi is having a party at daycare. They gave the parents a list of names last week so we could do cards for all the kids. Instead of buying the grocery store pack, I made all 45 (see I am still a kid). I also bought candy for the party, even though the babies don't get any. Even though my schedule has been so hectic, I managed to make Valentine cupcakes for Steve to take to work. I guess I am just drowning in the festive spirit.
To be honest, we don't have any plans. I will be cooking and we'll have a quiet dinner at home. We thought about going out or ordering food, but all the restaurants are so busy. We'll just eat and do a gift exchange. Perhaps, I should buy some strawberries for dipping in chocolate. That would make a great dessert and special Valentines Day fun.
