Airbrushing

For some strange reason, I haven't felt like posting personal or meaningful things going on in my life.  Possibly because there isn't much to share.

However, I have been fascinated by the crazy drive for perfection and beauty that many Southern Californians seems to have.  Lately, that interest has made me a little more fascinated with airbrushing.  I don't really have anything negative to say about it.  As long as everyone understands that the ideals don't really exist even in women that are considered amazingly beautiful by many, I don't think it is harmful.  These are interesting:

That Dove commercial tells it all. Wouldn't it be nice if we could be airbrushed in real life? :)

Mostof those after pics weren't different then the befores except for Madonna's picture.

It's good to see the that ideals for beauty aren't so perfect afterall.

Wow, they really did a lot! You can see changes in skin tone, thinness, wrinkles, even the hair on some of the women. They "fixed" Faith's smile-crinkled eye. I think you're right, people need to know that's not the way models really look.
