Goodbye to my Aunt
My dad died of brain cancer almost exactly six years ago. Today, his younger sister lost her battle with breast cancer. He was 56. She was 54. The worst part is that my grandparents have now lost 3 of their 5 children. His older brother died last January. It doesn't matter how old you are or how old your children are, losing them is a nightmare.

I can't believe it's been six years since your father passed.
Thanks Shokufeh. Life does seem to march on quickly. She was actually diagnosed 4 years ago and it has been a miracle that she fought for this long. I am glad she can finally rest.
